These strings are a new innovation from Cleartone.

They a Copper Bronze (E String), Phosphor Bronze (A&D strings), and an 80/20 Bronze (G string).

Cleartone EQ's are the first Acoustic Guitar Strings that blend a variety of metals into a single set to highlight your guitar's frequency response. Designed to mimic a "perfect EQ setting", each wound string utilizes a different alloy to enhance that string's natural frequencies. They started with a 99% copper-bronze for the Low E to increase bass response. Phosphor bronze is used on the A&D strings used to accentuate the mid range while maintaining a robust, low and high end. They selected 80/20 for the G string because of its bright characteristics and ability to cut through the mix. Put together, Cleartone EQ's produce an exquisitely balanced tone that mimics a "perfect EQ setting" by combining all the best characteristics of Phosphor Bronze, 80/20, and Copper-bronze into a single set.

    Cleartone EQ medium gauge strings

I play Piedmont blues with finger picks in a way that seems to kill G-strings rather quickly. Sometimes I buy a supply of extra third strings and just add that one when the tone gets dull, but for the past couple years I've been trying a lot of different string types, looking for a treatment that keeps the whole set sounding good for 2 weeks or more. I'm now on my second set of Cleartone EQ, the first set having lasted 3-4 weeks. So I'm optimistic (and just bought two more sets to extend my sampling) that this may be the solution in my search for strings that both sound great and are durable.

I’m a performer in New Orleans on Bourbon Street and I have an obligation to play 4 hours a night solo act of the old delta blues, I use a Gibson Blues King and the Hybrid Metal strings listed here. They are with out any argument the best strings out today for Blues, great slide sweet tone and they are tough the just don’t break however they are nice to your fingers, love the action and very slinky I hate the squeaking when you clime the neck also I want to put a thank you out to Jason here @ GimmeSomeStrings for keeping it real and for the best price anywhere in the world. Try a set and thank me later Blond Melon
