NEON™ Red electric guitar strings with K3™ Technology
The K3 coating is the first coating that players report, "sound as good or better than uncoated strings."
DR's remarkable and proprietary K3 Technology coating is the first coating that makes no apologies and no excuses for not delivering sound equal to uncoated strings. Players tell us that these strings have more volume, less unwanted overtones, greater clarity and articulation than standard, uncoated strings. Yet, they provide the same protection due to corrosion and perspiration as well as increased tone life that coated strings are known for.
Scale Length: 38"
Material: K3 Luminescent Neon Red Nickel-Plated Steel. Hexagonal Core Wire with Ball End.

DR NEON RED ELECTRIC GUITAR STRINGS
Very cool looking strings. Especially in black light. Right out of the box they actually sound brighter than D'Adario strings I usually use. I'm trying to get used to the feel of coated strings, being that they stay brighter longer. The cool part is when you use the DR luminescent strings with a black light on they look absolutely amazing. Three drawbacks this time 1. Heavy gauges sets for alternate tuning applications are not available from the Neon series 2. The 24 gauge G stings does not illuminate in black light. (On 2 separate sets of neon red electric 12-54) 3. THERE ARE NO 12-STRING SETS!!!!! (I had to buy multiple sets to get the right gauges to string up one 12 strings guitar. And I did that for 2 different 12 string guitars. So I really like the strings but they need to accommodate for more options.) So until then, just 3 stars. It would be 4 stars if the 24 gauge string illuminated like the rest of the strings. Maybe DR ran out and put in 24 gauge strings from their Red Devil series. I would be 5 stars if they make 12-string sets.
