Ernie Ball Papa Het Hardwired Master Core Signature Strings were developed with James Hetfield to deliver a balanced feel and strong tuning stability for aggressive playing styles. This custom 11–50 gauge set features a thicker core-to-wrap ratio and nickel-plated steel wrap wire for a full, focused tone with solid pitch stability.
These custom gauges are well suited for players who want a slightly heavier low end for tight rhythm response while keeping the plain strings comfortable for bends and lead work.
The wound strings use Ernie Ball’s Master Core Technology, designed with a heavier core-to-wrap ratio to produce a thicker sound and improved pitch stability under heavy attack.
The plain strings are constructed using Paradigm core wire and include RPS (Reinforced Plain String) brass reinforcement at the ball end, helping reduce breakage and improve tuning stability.
This set was originally introduced as part of the Papa Het collectible tin 3-pack and is now available as a standard single set.
