Fender Pure Vintage ’66 Jazz Bass Pickup Set
The Fender Pure Vintage ’66 Jazz Bass pickup set is voiced to reproduce the classic mid-1960s Jazz Bass tone that defined a generation of electric bass recordings. These pickups deliver the balanced response, midrange growl, and dynamic range that made the Jazz Bass a standard across many musical styles.
Includes both neck and bridge pickups sized for standard Jazz Bass® routing.
Constructed using period-correct materials and techniques, these pickups feature enamel-coated magnet wire, fiber bobbins, and cloth-covered lead wire. Alnico 5 magnets provide focused response and strong dynamics, while flush-mount pole pieces help produce even string balance.
Each pickup is wax-potted to reduce unwanted microphonics. Installation hardware is included.
