GHS Classic guitar strings feature professional quality at economy prices. All sets have been carefully gauged and balanced to provide satisfying tone and tension for professional and amateur alike. The three plain strings are made of Du Pont Tynex monofilament, and the wound strings are made of a nylon strand core over which is wrapped either a phosphor bronze or silvered copper core wire.

The Ball end basses are mellower and facilitate intallation. Tynex-Nylon Trebles/Phosphor Bronze Basses: provide a brighter tone.
