MXR® Rockman® X100™ Analog Tone Processor
The MXR Rockman X100 Analog Tone Processor recreates the signature sound of the original Rockman X100 headphone amp and signal processor developed by Tom Scholz. This all-analog pedal delivers the same core tonal character that defined many classic arena rock recordings, now in a compact pedal format suitable for modern rigs without requiring the original headphone amp or rack-style setup..
The Rockman X100 features four preset modes covering crystal-clear cleans, mid-focused clean tones, edge-of-breakup drive, and saturated high-gain distortion. Carefully calibrated compression keeps notes articulate and controlled across clean and driven sounds, while the built-in analog chorus adds width and movement when engaged.
Designed for flexibility, the Rockman X100 works well in front of an amplifier, through an effects loop return, or directly into full-range systems for silent or direct-to-PA setups. Mono and stereo output options, along with external mode switching support, make it adaptable for both stage and studio use.
