Gauges: .012 – .016 – .020w – .027 – .037 – .050
Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Swing JS112 strings step into true medium-heavy flatwound territory, offering increased tension, added low-end authority, and a more substantial feel while retaining the refined response the Jazz Swing line is known for.
Like all Jazz Swing sets, JS112 strings are built on a true round core, allowing them to vibrate freely with a smooth, supple feel that remains more flexible than many traditional flatwound strings. The highly polished pure nickel ribbon windings produce a warm, focused tone with excellent note separation and a controlled, mellow top end.
Silk-wrapped ball ends help stabilize the winding and support long string life and consistent performance over extended use.
Like all Jazz Swing sets, JS110 includes a wound third string, supporting balanced feel and smooth tonal response across the set.
Why players choose JS112:
-
Medium-heavy feel with increased tension and depth
-
Wound .020 third string for improved balance and smoothness
-
Warm, focused flatwound tone with strong fundamentals
-
Comfortable flexibility thanks to round-core construction
JS112 is an excellent choice for players who want maximum tonal richness and stability without sacrificing the refined feel that defines Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds.

TI Surf Strings
These are perfect for a Fender Jaguar if you like surf music. I've had 11s and 13s also. 12 just seems like the right tension. I've tried tons of other flats and I keep coming back to these. They're thick sounding and easy to play.
