They are long scale strings, intended for 34" scale length
- This unique sounding string has a construction very similar to it's flatwound counterpart but with slightly more edge.
- The round outer-wrap is a small diameter nickel alloy winding which ads slightly more bite to the upright style tone without the typical roundwound side effects of excessive string squeak and premature fret wear.
- The set is designed with a lower tension and gauging to increase ease of playability and reduce strain on the instrument's neck without sacrificing output.

TI JR345
These strings are excellent and a level above other strings. Very smooth finish, very balanced across the strings, They have a very solid tone with a strong fundamental. The B string is exceptional. I am hoping they last a long time to offset the cost.

expensive but fantastic string!
This is the most comfortable set of strings I have used. It has the smoothest feel and slightly less tension than my other regular strings (DR-sunbeam and low rider). If you like a tighter feel...this is NOT the string for you. It feels like a coated string, but it is not. I seem to get a very even frequency response without stating that it is bright or scooped or boomy. It just seems extremely even. I now have these strings on 2 different basses and will probably put another set on a 3rd bass. They are almost 3X the price of other strings so it is not a set of strings to impulsively buy. But I really like the strings quite a bit.

Well-worth the price; if you are curious, get these. EVEN BETTER seller; however. Asked about a strap that wasn't in stock and they just sent it to me for free with my strings. REAL PEOPLE making humanity better.
