Tangle plain .017 problem solver
Bought this for being flat wound. Needed to change out twanging .017 plain. Making it more a jazz string set. Worked out great. Have had this twanging problem since bought this Gretsch G2622T. G string always twanging. Added Zero fret and back to original gauge string. Changing to this flat wound solved problem. Found sets by Magma that have both wound .020 and plain .017. This will br great. Now that this string show me that problem solved. Was using Curt Mangan worth plain .017 G string. So changing out that .017 plain with this flat .020 in proved the sound with those Curt Mangan strings til next change. Only company out there that sells this single at such a great price also. Glad to have found the help I needed through this company.

I really like these for my arch top. No string noise. They bend fine for blues.
