GHS Boomers Electric Guitar Strings 7&8-string sets

GHS Guitar Boomers are nickel-plated steel electric strings built on a round steel core for a bright tone, strong attack, and consistent response that holds up over time.

Each string is individually sealed in GHS’s Nitro-Pack anti-corrosion envelope, helping protect freshness from the factory in Battle Creek, Michigan until installation.

For extended-range guitars, GHS designed these 7- and 8-string sets with input from modern players who tune lower and use additional strings for a broader tonal range. Larger gauges (typically .070 and above) feature tapered ends to improve fit, break angle, and stability at the bridge.

These sets retain the same core feel and clarity as standard 6-string Boomers while supporting lower tunings and multi-scale/extended-range instruments.
