A great set of bass strings from GHS, these Pressurewound sets fall right between a round and a flat. Some call them "half round", they are highly magnetic and feel almost like a flatwound string without losing the punch of round wounds.
Alloy 52™ is run through GHS's computer controlled precision rollers in the winding process to create a semi-flat string with great articulation and a mellow tone with less finger noise.
Ideal for fretless players that want to be easy on their fingerboards but not give up that roundwound "growl."

GHS PRESSUREWOUND BASS STRINGS
As a long time guitar player who transitioned to bass a few years, I have found these strings to be perfect for me. I tried round wound, I tried flats, but couldn’t get comfortable with either. These are the perfect mix of those two types of strings. I have discovered that many players don’t know these strings exist. Half rounds have most of the punch that you get from round rounds, with a lot of the physical and auditory attributes of flats. Give them a try!

GHS Pressurewound strings
The best of both worlds! In between rounds and flats, the tone is great and the feel is smooth.
