Designed for installation in most Jazz Bass-style instruments with a metal control plate, this system features Sadowsky's signature boost-only bass and treble EQ, along with a passive Vintage Tone Control (VTC).

Installation & Compatibility:
On newer active Jazz Bass-style instruments with a side-mounted output jack and battery compartment, installation typically requires no modifications.
For passive basses, installation generally requires relocating the output jack to the side of the instrument and creating space for a battery.
The preamp can be installed using the included control plate or mounted through a rear control cavity in either a four-in-line or diamond configuration.
Important: This system is not compatible with active pickups requiring a volume or balance potentiometer other than 250K or 500K. Installation requirements vary by instrument.
